The Road Trip Shawl is a great travel companion! Long rows of mock garter in speckled yarn offset simple but delightful lace sections that mimic migrating butterflies, rows of crop fields and wildflowers growing in open fields. Along the way you’ll crochet in rhythmic mock garter stitch much like the endless miles of highway traveled.
Please note that this pattern is not written in the traditional way with stitch counts every single row. Stitch count is given at the end of each section to help keep you on track but if you have one or two extra just work with it and keep going, no one is going to count your stitches while you’re wearing it ;) You will be increasing by one on every row.
