Now available as a single pattern!
Rhiannon was a great queen from Welsh mythology and this dramatic hap shawl is named in her honour. It uses a traditional hap shawl construction, beginning with the central square, from which stitches are picked up all around to work the two borders. Once these are complete the knitted-on edging is added, complete with tidy short-row corners.
Rhiannon Hap Shawl uses yo, K2tog, SSK and sk2po to create all the lace stitches. Explanations of all abbreviations are given in the pattern. How to work the short rows used in the corners of the edging is also explained thoroughly.
