Rainbow Stripes Temperature Blanket

Whether you’re looking to make a keepsake for a special year, or looking for a long-term project, the Rainbow Stripes Temperature Blanket is the perfect make! Each day of the year, we crochet a diagonal row, in a colour representing the daily temperature (high, low or average) for where you live. There’s a square created for each month, and these are joined to create a truly unique blanket!

This pattern uses basic stitches and joins - so if you can make a granny square, you can make this blanket. The pattern contains tips for creating your temperature scale and colour range, but this may need to move up or down depending on your country’s climate.

The pattern uses 16 colours, plus a border and joining shade. A maximum of 100g in each colour.
