Product Details
Your child might want to eat and sleep in this bright sweater. The seams are knit-in using colourful garter stitch bands and the pocket linings flash the same colour as the seams for lots of visual impact.
The joining bands are a kind of hybrid pick up and knit combined with three-needle bind-off. There are no hand sewn seams in this project. It's all knitting, all the time!
Finished chest measurement: 28 ¼ (29 ¾, 31 ¼, 33 ¼, 34 ¾)” [70.5 (74.5, 78, 83, 87) cm]; Intended to be worn with about 5” (12.5 cm) positive ease.
Gauge: 22 sts & 32 rows = 4" (10cm) in St st using 3.75mm (US 5) needles.
Techniques: Increases/decreases, short rows, three-needle bind off, picking up sts, knowledge of basic sweater construction.
