There was a discrepancy between the yarn the pattern called for (*********) and the yarn recommended on the LoveCrafts website (Paintbox Cotton DK). I ended up needing two balls of the gray yarn to finish the pattern, and, of course, it turned out much larger than the pattern measurements. I figured out by trial and error that all of the pattern pieces are crocheted in the round. There is a mistake (stated twice) in the arms where it says 18 sts. It should be 16 sts.
