Poppins Hat Crochet Pattern

"Poppins Hat" is bucket style hat with a lovely floral pattern. It is inspired by my “Ixora Bag” pattern. The hat features a simple base, a lacy floral design in the center, a brim and buttons.

I made this hat for my daughter, Shaman using two of my designer yarns, “Tricotin” & “Vibrant”. When Shaman saw the finished hat, she said, it looks like the candy, “Poppins”. So I named this hat after this colorful candy.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

You can use any Bulky weight yarn (about 125-250 yards depending on the hat size you’re going to make). You may substitute the yarn with double strands of worsted weight yarn too.

Finished Sizes:

Preemie: Circumference: 12" – 14”, Height: 5”

Newborn: Circumference: 14" - 16", Height: 6”

Baby: Circumference: 16" - 18”, Height: 6.5”

Child: Circumference: 18" - 20”, Height: 7”

Teen: Circumference: 20" - 22”, Height: 9”

Adult: Circumference: 22" - 24”, Height: 10.5”
