Although specifically designed for twins, this peapod photo prop is a cute, novelty addition to any photographer’s repertoire and can be worked to make single, (or multiple baby), peapods.
Each pod is worked top down with no additional seaming required. Some stitching is required for attaching stalk, leaves and tendrils.
Designed to fit newborn babies, each pod measures 75cm (25½") long with a centre-front opening. For best fit, baby should be positioned with their head near the top of the opening.
The matching ‘little pea’ hats have a 36cm (14") head circumference and shaped ear flaps. They should be worn with the widest slope framing the face and the narrow slope to the nape of the neck.
If the model is at the smaller end of the age range, the brim can be turned up.
Note: This item is not suitable for sleeping in and its use should be supervised at all times.
Materials: 150g double knit (8-ply) yarn in dark green, 50g double knit (8-ply) yarn in light green per single hat and pod set.
Tools: 3.50mm hook.
