Children’s Short Sleeved and Sleeveless Dress Knitting Pattern to fit from 6 months to 7 years old
Dress has a Santa Claus motif and 3 button fastening

Design:
The dresses have a Father Christmas motif and snowflake motif to the front and back with a moss stitch hemline and garter stitch neckline. The front, back and sleeves are knitted separately on straight needles and sewn together. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline and for the opening at the back. For the Sleeveless Dress, stitches are picked up to finish off the armhole edges.
Santa motifs are worked using the intarsia method using separate small balls of yarn for each section of colour. The snowflake pattern is worked using the Fair Isle method stranding yarn on the wrong side of the work.
