**Owl Baby Cocoon, #513.** Precious swaddler cocoon for your baby. Perfect for a last minute shower gift! Make the quick one color version or the multi color version. Directions for newborn to 3 month size. Uses the same technique as our many afghans done with sc in back lp of stitch and dropped dc in front lp of stitch 2 rows below which forms the design (worked similar to the old fashioned classic crochet Navajo blankets).
Gauge: Suggested hook size only--use whatever size hook
you need to obtain correct gauge
E hook and baby/sport/DK yarn:
5 sc and 5 sc rnds = 1 inch.
2½ dc rnds = 1 inch.
4½ pattern st rows of (sc in next st, dc in next st) = 1 inch.
