Nykur Top

This is a simple top with a colorful yoke designed to use your mini sets or leftover sock yarns. This top, named for a water sprite, uses Chaos Fiber Co. mini gradient in Blue Skies.

Finished Size:

Chest: 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52) inches

Length: 13(13, 13.5, 15, 15.5, 16) inches from cast on to underarm (easily customizable)

Yarn: Chaos Fiber Co. Tonal Deluxe, 75/25 Superwash Merino/Nylon; 460 yards per 100 grams 2(2, 2, 2, 3, 3,) skeins and one Chaos Fiber Co. Gradient Set, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 85 yards/20g each (510 yards total). 44” sample used only half of the mini set yardage; your yardage will vary according to size.

Needles: US Size 4/3.5mm circular needle, 24 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle) and your preferred method to knit small circumferences in the round. Or size to make gauge. Each knitter is different! Knit and wet-block a swatch in the round.

Gauge: 20 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette stitch.
