The Mushroom Border Blanket is an easy/intermediate throw blanket pattern, perfect for those who enjoy a little color work and single crochet stitches. Once you learn the pattern rhythm, it's easy to sit back and watch a movie or relax while crocheting.
This blanket is completely customizable in size, so make it for a new baby or a large king size!
For this pattern you will need:
3.5 mm hook. (larger is ok if you have a tight tension).
Size 4/medium weight Acrylic yarn. (3 colors)
Amount: Size is customizable- Estimate 6g for every 4x4inch/10.16cm square.
Example: my 44x44in blanket needed about 700g of gray yarn.

Yarn needle/Scissors to weave in yarn strands and cut.

This is a color-work style crochet pattern. You will be changing color frequently along the outer border of the blanket.
Carrying yarn under your working stitches is necessary to know.
