Use the same pattern with the recommended CHUNKY yarn and you will end up with a smaller tree. With or without the trunk, both versions are adorable and instructions for the trunk are included.
The design was inspired by childhood memories... decorating the Christmas tree with my family and also my adoration for the natural beauty and variety of trees.
