Since Tahki Yarns New Tweed yarn has been discontinued, I would suggest you use Tahki Yarns Coast, available from Tahki Stacy Charles. This yarn knits up with the same gauge on the same needles.
I prefer to join knitted pieces and reinforce edges with crochet, which produces durable seams and firm edges. This is optional.
