Product Details
A warm, chunky hat to throw on for that walk by the sea. A random selection of moss (USA seed), double moss (USA moss ) and garter stitch make for a lovely texture that matches the Lorna poncho perfectly.
An easy knit for the beginner and yet interesting enough for the experienced knitter who likes to watch the world go by or knit and natter. It is knitted flat on two needles and sewn up the back. Instructions are written line by line, in English with British/American terms. Most chunky yarns should be great for this pattern, but do check your tension/gauge. Adult and large adult sizes.
For the adult size hat without a pompom, only 1 ball is needed of the listed yarn, but other yarns may vary.
This hat is a cosy, fashionable knit, great for getting out and about, and great for last minute gifts to family or friends.

Pattern was easy to follow. I liked that measurements were given as well as # of row estimates. I could have used a little more explanation on how to seam and attach pompon but YouTube helped me fill in the gaps. This was my first time making a hat that was seamed so I would still recommend this pattern to anyone. Loved how the basic stitches in this combination made such an interesting hat. And I would also recommend the yarn recommended in the pattern as it was beautiful yarn. I did the green and the gray tweed.
