Lollipop Beret

Project information:

The Lollipop Beret is a perfect project if you’ve never knitted brioche before. It works up quickly, doesn’t require much yarn, and is ideal for using up leftovers. This makes the Lollipop Beret a lovely gift for both little and big stars in your story.

The Lollipop Beret is worked bottom-up in one piece, with no finishing required. The beret is knitted in two-color brioche (full brioche) with a rib edge and a pompom on top. Knitting two-color brioche is no harder than one-color brioche, since you only work with one strand at a time, so feel free to play around with fun color combinations!

Gauge:

1. 14 sts × 40 rows in full brioche on 4 mm needles = 10 × 10 cm (after washing and blocking)
2. 22 sts in rib on 3 mm needles = 10 cm (after washing and blocking)

1. Color A: DROPS Daisy (50 g = approx. 110 m) or * Sandnes Double Sunday (50 g = approx. 108 m)
