Product Details
Lily’s Valley Shawl has long valleys of stockinette stitch - perfect for a variegated yarn! - small ridges of garter stitch and little bubbly mountains made in a contrasting color. Its border is a meadow where lilies of the valley grow freely. This triangular shawl is worked from the top down and is adaptable in size, as both the body and border can be made longer or shorter. While it can be made with only one color, it’s a great project to use up a lovely variegated skein paired with an assorted tonal color.
Yarn and yardage Fingering weight yarn, one skein each MC and CC. Yardage can vary according to your taste and available yardage.
The prototype used 295 yds (270 m) for MC and 394 yds (360 m) for CC. It was made with MC: Zen Yarn Garden Serenity 20. CC: Hazel Knits Entice MCN.
The prototype measures 47” (119 cm) wide at top edge x 22” (56 cm) high at point.
