I fell in love with the colors. I knew I wanted to design a shawl that was simple and allowed the colors to speak louder than the design. In this case the yarn chose me. I used Wonderland Yarns, "Cheshire Cat" package of 5 mini skeins sock/fingering weight, 128 yds per each mini skein, for a total of 640 yds. You can easily put together your own color combinations and stop and start the transition wherever you want. I used 5 colors, but you can use 3, or 4 colors and the pattern will work.
