Let it Snow! Christmas cushion cover created in DK yarn. The cover is knitted in one piece and the snowy scene is made from knitted shapes applliqued to the front.
A stashbusting project using dk yarn and Peter Pan Precious Chunky which knits up well even on 4mm needles. You will need around 70g each of sky and snow shades but can use a different colour for back if preferred. James c brett marble dk has some good sky options
Design choices available so that you can achieve at your own level. Change the landscape to just trees if thats what you feel comfortable with. This was created for my knitting group as a mystery challenge so has been tried and tested.
Techniques include Stocking stitch, garterstitch, beaded knitting (optional). Buttonholes, simple patterns, I cord, decreasing, rib, simple applique
