A very pretty summer knitting pattern for a Lemon Tea Cosy with Lemons and Blossom adorning the top.
This beautiful Cotton DK Tea Cosy is knit in the round using a small 4mm circular knitting needle or 4 x 4mm double pointed knitting needles (DPN's). You will need a pair of single or double point knitting needles for the Flowers and Leaves and a small quantity of polyester toy filling for the Lemons.
The finished Tea Cosy will fit a standard 2 pint tea pot. 18in in circumference and 5in in height excluding the lid.
To Make Lemon Tea:
Make a two pint pot of English Tea. Place the Tea Cosy over the Tea Pot. Thinly slice a fresh lemon and place one slice of the lemon in the base of a china tea cup. Pour hot tea over the lemon slice. Sugar to taste and relax.
