I was very disappointed with this pattern. There were multiple errors and the instructions weren’t at all clear. I contacted Love Crafts to request a refund, but they said they weren’t able to, as it was written by an independent designer and the money went straight to her. I found this most disappointing and probably won’t buy a pattern from them again, because of this. They did however contact the designer and request that she correct the pattern, which she has done. I requested an updated version and they emailed it to me. I think the issue may be because the designers first language is not English. Such a shame as I think basically it’s a good pattern, but the detail is lost in the translation. Just my thoughts. Unless you are an experience knitter and can work it out for yourself, I would not recommend this pattern.
Instructions were inaccurate and often not very explicit. I kept referring back to the picture rather than instructions to work out what I needed to do. A shame because the finished item is lovely but it was unnecessary hard work.
In my 50+ years of knitting I have never had such poor instructions in a pattern. Couldn't even get the colours right. Won't be buying any more
