I made flat knitting version of bee pattern by turning rows. Antennaes and wings of a bee are knitted in separate parts and sewn to the base.
The pattern is intended for beginner users. The basic yarn for knitting bee is shown in the pattern; also you can use suitable analogs.
SIZE: 6 stitches and 10 rows on a 1 x 1’’ (2.5 x 2.5 cm) swatch in a stockinet stitch with US 2 needles (2,75mm).
From the specified yarn and gauge, size of the bee toy is 2 1⁄2 x 2 1⁄2’’ (6.5 x 6.5 cm with wings). For other yarns, the size of the finished toy may vary.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the bee toy, photos, videos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of all techniques, a materials list. The pattern is 10 pages and written in English.
