Jardin Throw and Baby Blanket

The Jardin blanket pattern is straightforward to create, yet using only the most basic stitches you can create a stylish, decorative blanket. It works equally well with chunky yarn for a modern cosy look, or with a finer yarn to create a more delicate blanket.

This pattern is easy enough to be used by a beginner, yet still interesting enough to be enjoyed by an intermediate crocheter.

Stitches used are -

(US) SC, HDC, DC.

(UK) DC, HTR, TR.

Finished baby blanket example uses approx. 500gm DK yarn with a 4.5mm hook. Finished product measures 78cm wide x 85cm tall / 31" wide x 33" tall.

Finished throw blanket example uses approx. 1.4kg Chunky yarn. with an 8mm hook. Finished product measures 137cm wide x 162cm tall / 54" wide x 64" tall.
