DESIGN OVERVIEW: Legwarmers are knitted in simple garter stitch and embellished with delicate cable hearts at the ankle for a charming detail. The knitting begins at the foot band and is gradually shaped into the leg, creating a comfortable fit and a smooth, thoughtful construction.
The legwarmers can be knitted using DPNs, a short circular needle, or a longer circular needle with the magic loop method. When knitting with DPNs, distribute the stitches evenly across four needles after the foot band is completed and the piece is joined for knitting in the round.
