Originally did this on the Cindwood KK replacement loom of 42 pegs. But I did the video on a 40 peg loom in a 3/8" gauge. Have also included a formula to make this on any loom you want. I used more than one skein of Lions Brand Hometown USA in red but also made it with Caron Simply Soft and a Bernat Blanket Yarn. If you are using a chunky yarn you will likely need 2 skeins in order to complete this project. You only really need to know short row methods. Also if you have made socks or a 10 stitch blanket you can make this easily. Feel free to ask questions if you have them.
