This adorable headband is very easy and fun to knit. The band is knitted sideways. The flower is knitted separately and sewn to the band.
Band width: 1.5” ( ~4 cm) Flower diameter: 3” ( ~7.5 cm)
Circumference:
0-3 months: ~11”-12” ( ~28-30.5 cm)
3-6 months: ~13”-14” ( ~ 33-35.5 cm)
6-12 months: ~15”-16” ( ~ 38-40.5 cm)
12+ months: ~16”-17” ( ~ 40.5 -43 cm)
Yarn used: #3 DK yarn (8 ply)
Gauge: 5.5 sts per 1”(~2.5 cm) in stockinette stitch
The headband can be made wider or narrower by using a thicker or thinner yarn.
