Infinity scarf / long cowl wrapped twice around the neck with stripes of colours and motifs.
The Hanging Gardens cowl was created in remembrance of one of the most amazing trips to Granada. This town, the Alhambra palace and its gardens are one of the most beautiful places I have had the chance to see. Vines, leaves and buds interweave in the Hanging Gardens lace and cable,s as it does in the ornamental gardens I’ve witnessed over there.
This cowl is long enough to allow you to twist it twice around your neck and feature either its stocking stitch, its lace or its cable on the front. It is worked flat with built-in i-cord selvedges on the sides. The first and last row are grafted at the end of the work to close it.
Yardage: 770-800 m / 842-875 yds of fingering weight yarn equally split between both colours.
