Product Details
If you have an odd skein of wool sitting in your stash, it may be a sign to finally use it and create something quick and stylish (and warm!).
These boot toppers feature a pattern I called Eye of the Tiger because the cable diamonds I designed, combined with the mustard-brown shade of yarn, reminded me of this big cat - especially its eyes.
You can wear them inside or over your boots, and you can also customise the pattern to extend them into full leg warmers.
Size:
S/M – finished size: 27 cm (circumference) x 17.5 cm (height)
L/XL – finished size: 33 cm (circumference) x 20 cm (height)
Customisable: Every pattern repeat (one “eye”) adds 5.5 cm to the finished circumference. Repeat the first rows to extend the length.
Level: Intermediate (requires familiarity with cable stitches).
The sample in the photo was knitted from WYS The Croft Shetland Colours Aran (Melby 551) yarn.
