Product Details
The Endless Summer shawl starts at one side and is worked across in ever-widening rows to the other side. The sc in back-loop-only stitches create a lovely ridge-like texture, and the ch2 spaces give the shawl an airy drape.
It can be made to any size just by working a different number of rows, and can be made with any weight yarn, though I recommend DK weight. You can stripe it as you wish, or not stripe it at all! Use a gradient yarn for a special effect to have your colors change across the width of the shawl.
This is a great shawl to crochet and also wear at the beach - my inspiration was the classic surfer movie: "Endless Summer."
