Cozy Bandana Cowl for Dogs
Designed for Bina the rescue Chihuahua in Drops Nepal. Worked flat, joined in the round, with 1×1 ribbing for a snug, stretchy fit. Techniques: garter stitch, yarn-over increases, simple decreases, cable-less heart motif and an optional tassel.
Seven sizes: Finished ribbing circumference: 9″ (23 cm), 12″ (30 cm), 15.5″ (39 cm), 19″ (48 cm), 22″ (56 cm), 25.5″ (65 cm), 29″ (74 cm). Fits neck: 7″–9″ (18–23 cm), 10″–12″ (25–30 cm), 13″–15″ (33–38 cm), 16″–19″ (41–48 cm), 20″–22″ (51–56 cm), 23″–25″ (58–64 cm), 26″–29″ (66–74 cm).
Customization
- Smaller: work 4 fewer bandana rows and cast on 4 fewer neck stitches.
- Larger: add more pattern repeats and neck stitches.
- Smallest sizes can be knit on DPNs or via magic loop.
