The most popular hat I sell at The Big Crocodile Hat Company. Here is the knitting pattern for my Crosshatch winter hat. Super cozy as the crossover creates a double layer. It's a happy place for your head.
The pattern is written for 'knitting in the round' on circular needles so no seam to sew up.
In addition to the circular needles you will need a chunky cable needle or 10mm dpn.
You will need 3 balls of 100g super soft super chunky/bulky yarn (or just 2 if only making a 1 or 2 colour hat). Mix it up to make a totally unique combination of colours.
