The geometric slipped stitch pattern on the leg is fun to do, which you know is my favourite. There is a simple cable technique that moves the slipped stitches to make those cubes crooked!
The sock comes in 3 sizes and is knit from the top down with a garter edge heel flap and traditional gusset. I finished it with my version of a rounded toe.
1 skein of fingering weight main colour yarn and 20-30g of a contrast colour is recommended.
Sock sets with 20g minis may work for 56 and 64 stitch size, but if you have a longer foot, you may need more than 20g.
72 stitch sock will need between 25 and 30g.
Stash dive and find a fun contrast colour!
Written and charted instructions are included with a video tutorial to show the simple twisted stitch/cable combination. The cables can be done with or without a cable needle.
The pattern looks great on lots of different types of yarn…Give it a try! Check out my tester’s project pages for inspiration.
