Two sizes are easy to make – just use a different hook size! Use acrylic yarn so crown will stretch. Pattern includes plenty of photos and optional instructions for inserting elastic to cinch in the crown to fit smaller heads, with a diagram to help you with insertion.
Designed for confident beginners, the pattern uses chains, single crochet (UK double crochet), double crochet (UK trebles) and decreases. Hooked in the round, the crown has a simple construction with the points added around the top and the edging worked in a metallic yarn.
