Product Details
Sit on the beach at Coral Cove and knit the rippling waves, the oyster shells resting on the ocean floor, the soft sand, and the seagulls above. Each of Coral Cove’s stitch patterns represents one part of this relaxing scene and lets you take the calming cove with you wherever you go.
Yarn: Fingering/sock yarn, two 100-gram skeins.
Finished dimensions: Approximately 68”/170 cm along the long edge and 42”/105 cm along the short edge, with an 18”/45 cm drop from the long edge to the point, before blocking. The pattern provides opportunities to make a smaller or larger shawl.
Difficulty: Advanced beginner. The stitch patterns are fully written out, not charted; they have very short repeats.
Needles: US 8/ 5.0 mm or size needed to achieve gauge. The shawl is worked flat.
Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows to 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch, unblocked.
