Product Details
The charm of the Cloud Roads Shawl lies in the way the lifted over knot stitches progress beautifully to the two-color brioche star stitches and back again.
Knit from the top down and center out, this triangle-shaped shawl alternates between these stitches using a simple progression from the dark to the light to the combination of the two colors. The result is a simple, timeless beauty. I hope you enjoy it!
Sample was knit in the large size in two colors using one strand of lace-weight yarn held together with one strand of fingering weight yarn. Any similar combination or any sport weight yarn that blocks well should work well for this pattern.
Size S|L: You will need the following yardage/meterage for each weight that you use:
400 yards/366 meters | 550 yards/503 meters for the light color
400 yards/366 meters | 640 yards/585 meters for the dark color
This pattern includes optional bead placement. Sample used approximately 152|200 Miyuki Triangle Beads Size 5/0.
