This is a pattern for a chunky cable poncho. The shape is a simple blanket poncho with open sides. It has one simple cable at the centre front. The roll neck is in rib. The chunky yarn knits up quickly and this makes a warm easy to wear winter poncho. You may prefer to use a circular needle because of the amount of stitches.
