Description: Knit a festive children’s jumper featuring an adorable intarsia teddy bear dressed in a Christmas jacket and Santa hat. Worked in double knitting (DK) wool, this design fits from birth to 3 years old and includes a practical three‑button shoulder opening to make dressing easier for little ones. The front, back and sleeves are knitted flat from the bottom up, with stitches picked up to complete the neckline. A full chart is provided for the motif.
Sizes: 0–6 months, 6–12 months, 1–2 years, 2–3 years.
Skill Level: Intermediate.
Yarn: Double knitting (DK) wool. Jumper shown uses Stylecraft Special DK in Turquoise, Lipstick, White, Mocha, Camel and Black.
Needles: 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles.
Other Materials: 3 × 15 mm buttons for the opening, 2 × 10 mm buttons for Teddy’s coat, stitch holders.
