I designed the Christingle Mingle Cowl as a fun advent project, using some of those gorgeous mini skeins of yarn that we all have in our yarn stash.
I wanted this cowl to be relaxing to knit, with the yarns taking centre stage. I love to play with colour and this project has that in abundance!
The pretty lace ribbing at the top and bottom, frame the playful stripes of stocking stitch. I loved seeing how each yarn worked with the previous one, and couldn't knit it fast enough !
You can of course knit the cowl at any time of year. The ever popular Chirstmas In July event seems a perfect opportunity, and an autumnal themed cowl would be fabulous too.
The pattern requires 12 x 20g of fingering weight yarn. Ideally 6 of the minis should be solid/tonal and 6 speckled/lightly varietagted.
