Product Details
Cavatina is an A-line modified halter top with interlacing back straps and eyelet lace panels running up both sides. The construction is seamless and worked bottom-up using Kitchener stitch to join the straps.
The pattern provides instructions for fingering weight and sport weight yarn. Both options are included in the pattern.
Sizing: The pattern is graded in seventeen sizes for finished bust measurements of 26”-58”. This is intended to be a very close-fitting garment and testers found the fit best at 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) of negative ease.
Skill Level: Intermediate.
Skills Needed: Working in the round, slipped stitches, basic increases and decreases, i-cords, Kitchener stitch.
Yarn: The fingering weight prototype was made with Third Vault Yarns Companion 4-ply in Life is Like a Grapefruit. The sport weight prototype was made with Fully Spun Postscript Sport in Lagoon.
