mr- magic ring
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
inc- increase
invdec- invisible decrease
sl st- slip stitch
sc2tog- single crochet 2 together
hdc2tog- half double crochet 2 together
dc2tog- double crochet 2 together
FLO- front loops only
BLO- back loops only
You will need the following materials: DK yarn- I used Hayfield Bonus DK in: Peaches (888), Fox (779), Bottle green (839), White (961), Black (965), Claret (841), Ladybird (698) and Navy (971)
3mm crochet hook
8mm black safety eyes
Stuffing
Sewing needle
Stitch marker
Scissors
Pins to hold pieces in place when sewing
Wooden skewers or wire for bagpipes
When made with the stated yarn weight and hook size, the finished toy will be approx 30cm tall.
