Product Details
BIG Fritz is an adult sized companion of the lovely FISCHERS FRITZ pullover. This round yoke pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down. First some short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then in rounds with a fun and beautiful colorwork pattern to sleeve separation. The body is then worked in rounds down to the hem. Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs last. An optional neck finishing is worked last. There are two fish motifs to choose from, one with the fish swimming downwards and one with the fish swimming upwards. You can mix and match these motifs as you like.
Original yarn: Wooldreamers 90 Varas - Transhumant Merino 100% Wool - Merino [246 yds (225 m)/50 g]; shown in Cloud (MC) and Terra (CC)
Gauge: 24 sts x 35 rows = 4" (10 cm) square in Stockinette stitch on larger needle after blocking and 24 sts x 31 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in stranded colorwork on larger needle after blocking
