Product Details
In textured lace borrowed from my Beanstalk Shawl, columns of gracefully-curved leaves grow from the Beanstalk Hat’s twisted-rib brim to its star-shaped crown. In addition to two size options, three distinct styles are included in this pattern for you to choose between: the ‘Spring’ version, featuring a single lace panel, ‘Summer’, featuring all-over lace repeats, and as a bonus, ‘Winter’ in plain twisted ribbing.
Skills and techniques include the Long Tail Cast On (optional), working a small circumference in the round, and working lace stitches and twisted decreases.
Materials Needed: 1 skein of Knitcraft & Knittery Fingering Weight Merino (100% sustainable Australian merino; 437yds/400m per 100g skein), or 157 (248)yds/143.5 (227)m of fingering-weight yarn. You will also need 1 end-of-round stitch marker, 4 (5) additional markers, and a needle for weaving in the ends.
To fit 18-20 (21–23)”/46-51 (53.5-58.5)cm head circumference.
Charts and written instructions are both provided in full.
