Product Details
This is a pattern for a light and lacy stole that is 17 1/2 inches x 72 inches.. However, there are instructions contained within the pattern for a shawl (24 inches wide), and a narrow scarf, (8 inches wide), and a wide scarf that is 10 inches x 78 inches giving you the choice of what you’d like to make.
This stole is knitted with fingering weight yarn. The focal cable stitch comes to us Japan,but it is charted using Western symbols.
The stitches are both charted and written out, however it is always helpful if you can refer to a chart.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
Any heavy weight fingering yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern.
No crochet hooks are needed if you wish to omit the optional edging.
