At 30" (76cm) x 20" (51cm) a practical and perfectly sized blanket for new-born babies and toddlers that can be used for so many purposes including; car-seats, prams, cribs and is welcomed in hospital for a very special person arrival.
Written in English and America crochet terminology.
The blanket is made in one piece, then surrounded by a border it is one of the easiest but entrancing patterns to crochet. It is reversible and has a press-stud opening to accommodate car seat belts and harnesses.
It has also been tried and tested by my grandchildren but I just couldn't get them to sit in the car seat long enough to photograph without them wanting to go off on a new adventure!
