This lovely and stunning design features very ancient motifs including an eight-pointed star, several kinds of stars and flowers, and a unique lozenge and rectangle with flourishes. Worked in a traditional colorway called the "zoe" or "living" colors, the predominantly featured bright coral red is associated with new life and Greek Pascha (Easter) as red-dyed eggs are integral to this celebration in Greece. Our photo shows it worked as a 36-inch square on Legacy Linen "Coconut", but it can also be worked as a border design for a rectangular runner or pillow cover.
