Aubrey Garter Beanie

This pattern is designed as a complete "master pattern," allowing you to knit this beanie with any yarn weight, from fingering to super bulky.

Description: This beanie is worked flat, side-to-side, starting with a cast-on of the fu l height of the hat. It is worked entirely in a garter stitch pattern. The hat's conical shape is created by knitting 8 identical wedges. Each wedge is formed using short rows (Wrap & Turns) to shape the pointy top of the crown. A slipped stitch at the beginning of every Right Side row creates a neat, finished edge for the brim (opening).
