Product Details
Named after the Scots name for the Storm Petrel, Assilag is a simple but fun fingerless mitts pattern with a twisted rib, cabled feather pattern growing up the outside of the hand between the cuffs. For the perfect fit, knit a size which gives you at least 1 cm (0.5”) of negative ease.
The pattern is fully written instructions, with charts for the cable pattern and also includes a photo tutorial for the Estonian Cast-On. The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern, and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. These additional techniques are used: picking up stitches.
