Product Details
This is a simple triangular shawl but the stitch pattern creates a lovely open body and the lacy edge, in a contrast colour, gives the piece a sophisticated look.
The original design was made using Vinnis Colours Serina, a 100% bamboo yarn. 7 balls of silver were used for the shawl body and 3 balls of light aqua for the edge.
Gauge is not of great importance for this shawl but you should aim for a good drape, which is why a 4.5mm hook was used for this design. Serina is usually worked with a 3mm - 3.5mm hook but the use of the larger hook creates a slightly loser and drapier fabric. Yardage: 1094-1214 yards (1000-1110m)
