    About

I thought that I would try and make a slouch/hat from the needles that I have. I don't have the ones that are noted in the pattern but I thought I would give it a go and have some fun making something stylish and warm.

The pattern get a bit wonky at the top but will just have to try different adjustments for the next time I make it.

    Pattern

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
      LOREN - Aran 1 ball

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 5.00mm (US 8) 35cm
    • Single Point 6.50mm (US 10.5) 35cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

10” from brim to crown-- fits head up to 23"

Notes: I used different yarn to the pattern (x1 ball of 200g LOREN Aran yarn) and needles (Not rounded, size 5mm and 6.5mm to work better with the type of wool) which meant I only needed to focus on the adjustments to make the pattern work for normal (instead of rounded) needles. Didn't need to change the number of stitches to start, only needed to take into account that I wasn't using rounded needles.
