    About

Beth asked a while ago if I could make her a second winter wooly and finally it reached the top of the list. I bought the wool at a Fonty open day from the factory shop. It is not available elsewhere and is partly recycled wool. I decided on a change from the usual cables but I can't say I enjoyed the bobbles. Also I have a line where I changed from a purl row to a plain on the gusset which is disappointing...any tips?

Notes: Obviously I have mot used the same yarn as pattern but the tension was ok. But it looks a bit on the small side, not much ease but better after blocking. Fingers crossed it is OK!

Beautiful jumper, but there's no way I would fancy doing all those bobbles. Well done.

All those bobbles, what a lot of work! Beautiful jumper. I think after a couple of washes that row will settle down.

Love the pattern at the hem, and the colour. Bobbles are not my favourites either. Sorry I don’t have a good suggestion to fix your wonky row. I wouldn’t have spotted it if you hadn’t mentioned it.
