    About

    This has been one of these designs that took a while to work out. It is a light weight cotton sweater with a textured body, stocking stitch arms and all of the edges/borders in twisted rib. I was thinking about the beautiful long summer nights in the far north of Scotland, which even after the warmest days, can be a bit breezy.
    I used some yarn which I had leftover from a project in 2022, double stranded on large needles to give a light but chunky texture

    • Circular 8.00mm (US 11) 120cm
    • Single Point 10.00mm (US 15) 33cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Holder

    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : I used a Handitool to pick up stitches, and circular needles for the neckband. I also used blocking pins and a board.

    Measurements

    Notes: I designed it as a loose fitting top for UK sizes 12/14/16. It is designed to sit on the waist.

        Thanks, it was just a chance mix as I had both colours in my stash, and I thought that the colours and textures work well together
